Online multiplayer will not be available on versions of the game purchased through the Mac App Store. The game will go on sale from other stores (including Steam) on January 30th.

Children of the Republic rejoice! Total War: ROME II returns to macOS on Steam on May 29th, with a Mac App Store release to follow shortly after!

This new, Apple Silicon-native release is free to all owners of the old version of Total War: ROME II on Mac. Simply download on release day!

The base game on Mac will match the latest version of the current Windows release, encompassing the Emperor Edition and its many updates. All DLC, including those never before released on macOS, will also be available to purchase separately.
