One of the most beloved strategy games ever comes to macOS this May, with the arrival of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.

Lead diverse civilisations spanning a thousand years of history. Grow a Dark Age hamlet into an Imperial Age citadel. Build a thriving economy, assemble your armies, and do battle across historical single-player campaigns, the hugely replayable skirmish mode, and with other macOS players in online multiplayer.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition comes complete with razor-sharp 4K visuals, a fully remastered soundtrack, and includes three expansions with the base game: Lords of the West, Dynasties of India, and Dawn of the Dukes. Newcomers to the series and returning veterans alike can look forward to all the fast-paced base-building and warfare that make this game a classic, consistently improved over two decades of refinement and additional content.

Empire builders hungry for more will also have access to a large — and still-expanding — stable of DLC purchasable from day one. Players can explore wide-ranging content, from Return of Rome, which transplants the original Age of Empires experience into the modern engine, to The Last Chieftains — exploring the complex medieval societies of South America — which just recently released!

The Scourge of God Returns — Total War: ATTILA out now on macOS

Following ROME II’s successful return to macOS, Total War: ATTILA is available on modern Macs for the first time.

Experience Total War’s signature blend of turn-based grand strategy and spectacular real-time tactical battles as a crumbling Roman Empire makes its desperate last stand.

This new port for macOS comes with native Apple Silicon support, improved performance and UI scaling. All eight DLC packs are also available for purchase, expanding the Campaigns and playable Culture roster. Existing owners of ATTILA and its DLC packs on Steam can access this new Mac version free of charge.
