Hotseats & Halberds Update for Total War: MEDIEVAL II Out Now!

EMPIRE may be the most recent entry in the Total War series to have landed on mobile, but that doesn’t mean Total War: MEDIEVAL II should be forgotten. On the contrary, Feral’s armourers have been toiling at the forge, hammering out a comprehensive patch, and today we’re excited to release the Hotseats & Halberds Update!

On the Hotseat side of today’s patch, the asynchronous multiplayer of desktop Kingdoms makes a triumphant return in a new and improved form. Owners of Kingdoms on mobile can now play hotseat mode on the Kingdoms campaigns, and the Grand Campaign of the base game for the very first time!

And, it’s not just Halberds that are feeling the love… The other half of the update introduces a massive assortment of balance updates to different units — most notably, a new Cohesion mechanic ensuring that Pikemen formations perform more reliably.

A full breakdown of the Hotseats & Halberds can be found on our blog, as well as a mammoth list of all the changes. But, if you’ve already read enough, charge to the app store of your choice and update today!
