Pledge allegiance to the Orks in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III for macOS and Linux

In Dawn of War III, step into a brutal battle as one of three warring factions. Alternate between command of the Space Marines, Orks and Eldar in the single-player campaign, and command your favourite to wreak havoc in cross-platform multiplayer between macOS and Linux.

So who are the Orks?

They are brutal and cunning in equal measure – the products of a warlike society where bigger means stronger and stronger means MORE SHOOTY! Orks rely on strength in numbers, so commanding a WAAAGH means you must manage plenty of squads at once.

As the Orks, you can call up powerful Super Units like Beauty da Morkanaut. Equipped with a kustom mega-kannon for maximum carnage, the massive Morkanaut is loaded with an entire arsenal of weaponry - from twin-linked shootas to rokkit launchas. Explore this kunnin' brute in the 3D model below:

Wololo! Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Converts to macOS on May 28th!

One of the most beloved strategy games ever comes to macOS this May, with the arrival of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.

Lead diverse civilisations spanning a thousand years of history. Grow a Dark Age hamlet into an Imperial Age citadel. Build a thriving economy, assemble your armies, and do battle across historical single-player campaigns, the hugely replayable skirmish mode, and with other macOS players in online multiplayer.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition comes complete with razor-sharp 4K visuals, a fully remastered soundtrack, and includes three expansions with the base game: Lords of the West, Dynasties of India, and Dawn of the Dukes. Newcomers to the series and returning veterans alike can look forward to all the fast-paced base-building and warfare that make this game a classic, consistently improved over two decades of refinement and additional content.

Empire builders hungry for more will also have access to a large — and still-expanding — stable of DLC purchasable from day one. Players can explore wide-ranging content, from Return of Rome, which transplants the original Age of Empires experience into the modern engine, to The Last Chieftains — exploring the complex medieval societies of South America — which just recently released!

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition lands on Steam for macOS on May 28th, with a Mac App Store release to come later in the year. Keep your eyes trained on our social feed and blog — in the run-up to the Steam launch, we’ll cover everything you need to know about this real-time strategy titan.
