Pledge allegiance to the Eldar in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III for macOS and Linux

In Dawn of War III, step into a brutal battle as one of three warring factions. Alternate between command of the Space Marines, Orks and Eldar in the single-player campaign, and command your favourite to wreak havoc in cross-platform multiplayer between macOS and Linux.

So who are the Eldar?

The last of a dwindling species, the Eldar are arrogant and proud, and though their empire is a shattered fraction of its former grandeur, they are still formidable. They rightfully command awe with their psychic and martial prowess and under the right command are masters of striking quick and hard.

As the Eldar, you can call up powerful Super Units like Wraithknights. Though monstrous in size, Wraithknights are nimble and agile on the battlefield, able to move as if it were a fraction of its size. Explore this towering construct in the 3D model below:

The High Elves, Slaanesh and Norsca all see their rosters expanded, with three new Legendary Lords, a host of battle units, thematic mechanics and narrative arcs in the Immortal Empires campaign:

  • AISLINN, THE SEA LORD: a ruthless and tactically brilliant High Elf prince who commands the entire navy of Ulthuan.
  • DECHALA, THE DENIED ONE: the most feared warlord of Slaanesh’s legions, and is as mesmerising as she is merciless.
  • SAYL, THE FAITHLESS: Norsca’s treacherous and mutated Chaos Sorcerer, known for his mastery of betrayal, manipulation, and dark magic.

All three DLCs can be purchased as one complete bundle or individually, unlocking your preferred Legendary Lord.

Today also sees the release of update 7.0, which includes free access to Total War: WARHAMMER’s 104th Legendary Lord, The Masque of Slaanesh. Also included are legacy updates for High Elves, Slaanesh and Norsca, allowing players to return to past campaigns with new improvements.
