Patch Romana — The Imperium Update Brings Massive Control Improvements to ROME: Total War on iOS & Android

Citizens, rejoice! Today sees the release of the Imperium Update to ROME: Total War on iOS & Android.

Marching at the head of this legion of improvements are sweeping reforms to controls and options, bringing the best refinements from Total War: MEDIEVAL II to ROME — including Positioning Mode, Melee Mode and Automatic Deselection customisations.

Generals seeking something closer to the desktop experience can now also relive the glory days of ROME with mouse & keyboard support on iPad and Android.

The Imperium Update’s dominion extends beyond control —there are also a host of gameplay and balance improvements in store. In fact, the full Change Scroll unfurls right down the steps of the Senate.
