Meet the warring Races of the New World — Skaven

Command one of five imperious Races from Warhammer Fantasy Battles, and mount a campaign of conquest to save or destroy the New World of WARHAMMER II.

The Skaven are large humanoid-rat creatures from the Under-Empire, a realm of countless underground tunnels stretching beneath the whole of the New World. They are cruel and treacherous, and in thrall to their God, the Great Horned Rat, who teaches that all things must rot!

Skaven society is treacherous and celebrates those with the cunning to outmanoeuvre and kill, friend and foe alike. They are nonetheless unified in a single cause: to conquer the surface world and bring about the Great Ascendancy, where they will swarm across the face of the earth in a seething tide of violence and anarchy.

There are three Skaven clans, each led by a different Legendary Lord with their own quests and abilities.

  • Clan Mors — led by Queek Headtaker, a greatly feared Warlord
  • Clan Pestilens — led by Lord Skrolk, who channels the power of the Great Horned Rat
  • Clan Rictus — led by Tretch Craventail, a cunning chieftain

Total War: WARHAMMER II brings its legions of Lizardmen, Dark Elves, High Elves, Skaven and Tomb Kings to macOS and Linux later this year.

We’re in the End Times Now — Total War: WARHAMMER III - Lords of the End Times Has Arrived on macOS & Linux

Total War: WARHAMMER III’s Lords of the End Times is out now on macOS & Linux!

As with other recent DLC packs, the complete collection can be purchased as a bundle for a discounted price of $30.56 / £25.48 / €30,56. Alternatively, you can pick and mix the Legendary Lords that take your fancy, and purchase them individually for $8.99 / £7.49 / €8,99 each.

And, in a first for the series, purchasing Lords of the End Times content - either as a bundle or individually - grants access to the colossal Immortal Empires campaign with no need to own any Total War: WARHAMMER game, making it a great entry point for new players.

It’s the Eye of the Tigress: Bhashiva — Character Pack Out Now for Total War: WARHAMMER III on macOS and Linux

A new challenger approaches the Old World’s Maelstrom of conflict and chaos!

The Bhashiva Character Pack introduces a new Legendary Lord to the Grand Cathay. The Tiger Warriors are a proud, ancient martial culture, and sworn allies of the Dragon Lords of Cathay.

Ruling from the Tiger Court, their Lord is Bhashiva, a duellist built to cut through infantry and enemy Heroes alike — striking hard and fast with flame-imbued attacks.

If you own Total War: WARHAMMER or WARHAMMER II, but you’ve not yet purchased the WARHAMMER III base game, the Bhashiva Character Pack also unlocks the Grand Cathay faction for use in the Immortal Empires Campaign.

Today also sees the release of the free Update 8.0 for Total War: WARHAMMER III on macOS and Linux. Head to the Total War blog for all the details, but don’t miss Taoyan the Merciless — the free Legendary Hero. A favoured general of the Iron Dragon, she can be recruited by any Grand Cathay Legendary Lord. Specialised in slaying fearsome single-entity beasts, she is an asset to any faction who win her loyalty.

Update to 8.0 today, and head to the Steam Store to add the Bhashiva Character Pack to your collection for $4.99 / £3.99 / 4,99 €.
