Meet the Hunter, a new ranged enemy in XCOM 2: War of the Chosen for macOS and Linux

“The Chosen” are three unique enemies tasked by the Elders to recapture the Commander of XCOM at all costs. They are a constant threat that grows stronger as your campaign progresses.

The Hunter stalks his prey, revelling in tracking XCOM units across the map, wounding and disabling them before striking the final blow.

From his perch in unusual places, the Hunter can fire a Tracking Shot and target a soldier wherever they hide on the map. As soon as you see the laser-sighting beam, you’ll know you are in his crosshairs and have one turn to break line of sight before he takes the shot.

The Hunter has also been known to toy with his prey using Concussion Grenades and Tranquilizer Shots.
