Hot from the forge — Total War: MEDIEVAL II update 1.3 now available

After much smelting of 0s and 1s and the clanging of electronic hammers, Total War: MEDIEVAL II for iOS & Android has emerged from the armourers, sporting a shiny new patch.

Update 1.3 brings a number of much-requested quality of life features, including screen rotation for devices with camera notches, and the ability to hide the battle interface - so handy for taking those dramatic screenshots in the heat of the melee.

Our finest codesmiths have also improved touch gestures for easier fingertip control in battle, while addressing a number of crashes to offer a smoother overall experience. Players will also notice a big improvement to the time taken by AI factions when performing their turns.

We now turn our focus to the Kingdoms expansion, and look forward to sharing more about it later this year.

One of the most beloved strategy games ever comes to macOS this May, with the arrival of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.

Newcomers to the series and returning veterans alike can look forward to all the fast-paced base-building and warfare that make this game a classic, consistently improved over two decades of refinement and additional content.

Empire builders hungry for more will also have access to a large — and still-expanding — stable of DLC purchasable from day one. Glad Tidings We Bring — Tides of Torment Sweep Total War: WARHAMMER III on macOS & Linux

Tides of Torment are rising on macOS & Linux, with the release of the latest DLC for Total War: WARHAMMER III!

The High Elves, Slaanesh and Norsca all see their rosters expanded, with three new Legendary Lords, a host of battle units, thematic mechanics and narrative arcs in the Immortal Empires campaign:

  • AISLINN, THE SEA LORD: a ruthless and tactically brilliant High Elf prince who commands the entire navy of Ulthuan.
  • DECHALA, THE DENIED ONE: the most feared warlord of Slaanesh’s legions, and is as mesmerising as she is merciless.
  • SAYL, THE FAITHLESS: Norsca’s treacherous and mutated Chaos Sorcerer, known for his mastery of betrayal, manipulation, and dark magic.

All three DLCs can be purchased as one complete bundle or individually, unlocking your preferred Legendary Lord.

Today also sees the release of update 7.0, which includes free access to Total War: WARHAMMER’s 104th Legendary Lord, The Masque of Slaanesh. Also included are legacy updates for High Elves, Slaanesh and Norsca, allowing players to return to past campaigns with new improvements.
