Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts for iOS & Android – Commanding the British 2nd Army

The upcoming Opposing Fronts expansion adds two new armies, each with their own campaign, to the World War II strategy powerhouse Company of Heroes: the British 2nd Army and German Panzer Elite.

In the Liberation of Caen campaign, lead the highly mobile British 2nd Army’s armoured assault on the French city following the Normandy landings. With their Mobile Command Trucks the British can deploy units and vehicles directly to the front line, including high-ranking lieutenants that bolster the effectiveness of nearby troops.

Their three unique Command Trees further equip players with hard-hitting artillery, gliders to deploy Commando paratroopers anywhere on the battlefield, and Royal Engineers that can field self-entrenching Churchill tanks.

Opposing Fronts also adds the British 2nd Army to Skirmish mode, where players can set up their own custom battles against the AI on a variety of maps, from tight-knit, do-or-die 1v1 battles to massive 4v4 conflicts.

Total War: SHOGUN 2 - Complete Edition is coming to macOS in Q1 2027

An updated and enhanced version of the grand strategy classic Total War: SHOGUN 2 comes to macOS next year with all of its DLC, including the Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai campaigns.

Total War: SHOGUN 2 - Complete Edition includes:

  • Improved visuals, with updated lighting, shadows, and textures
  • 1440p and 4K UI scaling
  • Modernised controls
  • New full Japanese and Chinese voice acting and text localisation
  • 50+ newly playable minor factions
  • Integrated in-game mod support using Mod.io

Total War: SHOGUN 2 - Complete Edition launches on Windows on October 13th, priced at £34.99 / €39.99 / $39.99. From October 13th until November 12th only, all owners of the original Total War: SHOGUN 2 on Steam are eligible for a time-limited 75% discount when purchasing the Complete Edition.

Existing macOS owners of SHOGUN 2 on Steam can also take advantage of this discount by purchasing the Complete Edition in this window. They’ll then be able to get into the action when the game releases on macOS in Q1 2027.
