XCOM 2 for Mac and Linux – system requirements revealed

Feral has today revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the upcoming XCOM 2 for both Mac and Linux.

To play XCOM 2 you'll need to be running the latest version of Mac OS X, or Ubuntu 14.04.2 (64-bit) or SteamOS for Linux-based machines. Both versions require at least 1GB of video memory with an Intel 64-bit CPU running at 2.4GHz (Mac) or an Intel i3 series processor (Linux).

Please note, AMD and Intel GPUs are not supported for Linux at time of release.

XCOM 2 is out February 5th on Steam, and will be released on the Mac App Store soon.

Reinforcements Have Arrived — Company of Heroes Cross-Platform Multiplayer Lands on Nintendo Switch

Listen up, grunts! Company of Heroes commanders on Nintendo Switch can now join the online fray with battles for up to four players.

Today’s update follows online multiplayer on iOS and Android, with cross-platform play now available between all three platforms. Update today to join online skirmishes on a massive selection of maps.

Please note: On Nintendo Switch, online play requires an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Players who own the Company of Heroes base game on iOS or Android must also own both Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor expansions to ensure content parity between all players.

Hotseats & Halberds Update for Total War: MEDIEVAL II Out Now!

EMPIRE may be the most recent entry in the Total War series to have landed on mobile, but that doesn’t mean Total War: MEDIEVAL II should be forgotten. On the contrary, Feral’s armourers have been toiling at the forge, hammering out a comprehensive patch, and today we’re excited to release the Hotseats & Halberds Update!

On the Hotseat side of today’s patch, the asynchronous multiplayer of desktop Kingdoms makes a triumphant return in a new and improved form. Owners of Kingdoms on mobile can now play hotseat mode on the Kingdoms campaigns, and the Grand Campaign of the base game for the very first time!

And, it’s not just Halberds that are feeling the love… The other half of the update introduces a massive assortment of balance updates to different units — most notably, a new Cohesion mechanic ensuring that Pikemen formations perform more reliably.
