Weapons

The world of Fable is packed with weapons... some of which are legendary – unique items that are as famous to the people in the world of Albion as Excalibur is to us. Here are a few of them.

The Murren Great-Axe: This great golden axe is rumoured to have been made from the re-forged standard of the Murren Legion, a legendary battalion who patrolled the Old Kingdom’s frontiers. Its metal head glows with an almost divine quality.

Skorm’s Bow: This huge bow was crafted by a gentle genius of a smith, commissioned to make the world’s deadliest longbow. He did so, but his guilt and remorse branded the weapon with a dark and terrible curse.

The Bluetane Cutlass: The weapon of choice for many an old shipmaster, this curved and heavy cleaver always smells of sea salt. The blade itself whispers with the sound of the surf and its hunger for blood is palpable.

The Sentinus: This ancient mace is said to have been carried by Ash, shield maiden to Archon, the first ruler of the Old Kingdom. As majestic as any sceptre, it is powerful enough to bring empires to their knees.

Sword of Aeons: The lore of Albion hints that there is a lost sword, far stronger than all others. Legends say that aeons ago there was no conflict, no war, and no violence. At some point though, something caused a nameless smith to forge a weapon– the first one ever created. As the first and the most fearsome, its power is the power of all Albion, rumoured to be able to bring gods to ruin.
