Tahu

Element: Fire

Tahu Nuva is the Toa of Fire and most at home in the hot molten realm of Ta-Koro. He is fiercely protective of his village and its people, but his headstrong manner can lead him to leap into dangerous situations without thinking.

Kopaka

Element: Ice

Kopaka Nuva is the Toa of Ice. Stoic and solitary, he speaks little and does not enjoy conversation. Although reliable in a crisis, Kopaka prefers the isolation of Mount Ihu to the company of other creatures, even his fellow Toa Nuva.

Gali Nuva

Element: Water

Gali Nuva is the Toa of Water. As protector of the village of Ga-Koro, she is at home in all the lakes and rivers of Mata Nui. Gali is thoughtful and wise, which can sometimes bring her into conflict with Tahu's more fiery temperament.

Pohatu Nuva

Element: Stone

Pohatu Nuva is the Toa of Stone and patrols the dusty deserts and canyons of the north of Mata Nui. With his incredible strength, he can easily fling boulders like pebbles or crush huge rocks to dust, but his friendly nature makes him slow to anger.

Onua Nuva

Element: Earth

Onua Nuva is the Toa of Earth and the protector of the subterranean village of Onu-Koro. He is very wise and incredibly strong, but because his realm is in the dark places beneath the surface, he does not see as well in daylight as his fellow Toa Nuva.

Lewa Nuva

Element: Air

Lewa Nuva is the Toa of Air and the protector of the treetop village of Le-Koro. He is most at home high in the trees or soaring through the sky with the help of his twin Air Katana. Although he can be impulsive and reckless, Lewa is steadfast in his duty to the people and creatures of the jungle.
