The Story

It is a perilous moment for our universe.

From interdimensional chaos springs A powerful enemy known only as Terminus. A weapon of chaos, his only purpose is to supplant the reign of order across the universe.

Terminus travels to the Great Machine -- source of cosmic order and enforcer of natural law. In a battle of galactic proportion, Terminus breaches the Great Machine's potent armaments. Rendered defenseless, the Great Machine transmits a lone signal to a remote corner of space, a desperate cry for help.

On a forgotten planet, high priests of a timeless religion tend a sacred temple as they have for thousands of years. Suddenly, the earth rumbles beneath their feet, flames leap from the ground and a door appears in the shrine. As light and heat pour from the portal, a figure emerges from within.

Kneeling in reverent awe, the priests avert their eyes from the female form striding past. A gleaming vessel rises from a nearby ruin and the radiant figure enters. With a roar, the craft erupts skyward and disappears into the stars, accelerating toward the center of the universe.

The signal has been received and acknowledged. The mission is clear. Terminus must be vanquished from the Great Machine to restore order and protect life for all.
