Mickey Mouse sailed into stardom when he debuted in the 1928 animated short Steamboat Willie, the first cartoon with synchronized sound. As Disney’s mascot, he has since made over 100 appearances, including his famous leading role as the sorcerer's apprentice in Fantasia.
In 1990, Mickey made the jump to the SEGA Genesis in Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. This lively 2D platformer was a smash hit; cleverly combining SEGA’s inventive level design and clever gameplay with the enchanting spirit of classic Disney animations.
SEGA released a re-imagined version of that gem in 2013, using the latest 3D graphics to create an adventure that looks and feels like an interactive Disney fairytale starring the one and only Mickey Mouse.
