QA Technician 12 Month Placement (Mac/Linux/Mobile)
Feral Interactive is offering year-long industrial placements with our Functional QA team for current university students. We take pride in publishing AAA games for new platforms and audiences; our releases cover a range of genres and present a variety of challenges for all involved in the development process.
Working as part of our QA team, you will be identifying graphical issues, running performance comparisons against original games, participating in multiplayer testing and executing full game playthroughs. You’ll be expected to write up accurate and detailed bug reports; many of the issues you find will be hardware based, so a good technical understanding of PC hardware is helpful.
Our QA team work closely with the onsite development team to track down the root cause of issues and iterate towards solutions. This is a great opportunity to place yourself at the heart of the development cycles of several games and gain invaluable experience of the entire process.
We are a small, but expanding company with a current team of around ninety, so you’ll quickly get to know your colleagues. You will have the support of our experienced QA members and can look forward to working collaboratively with the team.
This is a full-time position for 12 months at our studio in Wandsworth, London. Placements usually start over the summer after the end of the academic year, with most placement students joining us at the beginning of July, but the start date can be flexible if required.
