General Carrington Interservice Chief of Staff - highest US military post. Conducting his own enquiry into the assassination. Unconventional, but a good source of information and a good man. Short-tempered.

The Mongoose Seems to be involved in the Presidents death. A dark, shadowy character with the demeanour and skills of a professional killer who is not used to failure. He wants XIII dead!

Colonel Amos Running the official FBI enquiry into the death of President Sheridan. Very methodical and intelligent, but lacks gut-instinct. Loyal once his trust has been earned

Walter Sheridan Is helping General Carrington carry out his inquiry into the assassination of his brother, William. He has promised to stand against the Republican candidate Joseph K. Galbrain. A notorious charmer.

Kim Rowland She disappeared while investigating the conspiracy behind the murder of the President Sheridan. She was working with General Carrington.

William S. Standwell A fiery hardline political figure who dreams of replacing General Carrington as Military Chief of Staff.

McCall Runs the SPADS (Special Assault Destroying Section) camp on an island off the Mexican coast. An ambitious and violent guy who'll stop at nothing to get what he wants.
